Eileen Wray, M.Ed.
Eileen received her undergraduate degree at the State University of New York (SUNY-Plattsburgh) and her Master’s degree in Exceptional Education from the University of Central Florida. She has over 30 years of experience working in the fields of Developmental Disabilities and Mental Health in administration, teaching, and training in both public and private organizations. Prior to coming to Florida, Eileen was recognized as a Delaware State Employee of the Year and honored by both the Delaware House of Representatives and Senate for establishing a 5-K run/walk for persons with and without disabilities. Additionally, she received an award from the Delaware ARC for her contributions for community recreation inclusion. At CARD, in addition to her duties as a coordinator, Eileen also oversees the Sister’s Club, a monthly group for girls, kindergarten to fifth grade, who have a sibling with an autism spectrum disorder. Eileen’s interests in training are in understanding behavior (parents, teachers, and caregivers), and supporting community opportunities for employment and recreation. Her passion is helping parents of, and individuals with, intellectual disabilities. At CARD, in addition to her duties as a coordinator, Eileen also oversees the Sister’s Club, and Sibshops.
