Chelsea joined UCF CARD in January of 2017. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education in 2011 and earned her Master’s Degree in Exceptional Student Education through Project ASD in 2015. She currently holds Florida Professional Teaching Certificates in the areas of Elementary Education (K-6) and Exceptional Student Education (K-12). She earned Endorsements in Autism Spectrum Disorders, English for Speakers of Other Languages, and Reading. Chelsea served as an ESE Support Facilitator in Seminole County Public Schools, and taught second and third grade general education classes in Orange County Public Schools. She managed a tutoring company specializing in teaching children with various learning challenges, and has extensive experience working with children and young adults who have exceptional needs. In her free time, Chelsea enjoys creating arts & crafts, volunteering in the community, and spending time with family.
